Finally! We have time for a story! A Movie Story...

Our dad used to be in the music business, and even though we love music (Mr Baby's taste goes to Classic Rock...Kiss, BTO, and Thin Lizzy are some of his favorites. Me? I go for Mozart, Beethoven, and Vivaldi. In fact, I dream of one day conducting an entire symphony orchestra. I can see the headline now...."Tuxedo clad Teddy Bear leads the TBSO in a rousing Four Seasons. Three encores! An amazing night with Bobby Markowitz at the podium"). I digress. Even though we love music, our first and foremost energies go into The Movies! We'll watch anything they throw at us. Well, sometimes our mom puts us in our "movie bag" and off we go to the theater.
Dad says the best part is the low ticket prices for us..Adult $$$, Children $$, Seniors $, Bears $0.00! One night, a while back, they took us to the Washoe Theater in Anaconda, Montana. I wore my tux for the occasion and little brother went naked, as usual. He LOVES being naked. He says that is how bears are meant to be. I guess it's hard to argue that, but I figure someday he'll grow up and act like a normal person. Well anyway, we got in and sat down, and then it happened! The movie started. We were all focused on the screen, but Mr Baby was even more fascinated by the theater itself.
It was built in 1931, and is considered a great example of  Nouveau Deco architecture, so the baby decided he was going to explore the whole place..on his own. He slithered off his seat and headed up the aisle to the balcony. All the while, we were munching popcorn and enjoying the show, unaware he went awol. An hour and a half later, as the credits rolled, I noticed his absence and patted mom on the wrist. "Hey, MB's gone missing," I whispered. She said she thought he went exploring, and he'd be back soon. Dad wasn't so sure so he headed out looking for him. As the final credits began to roll, about five minutes later, much to all of our surprise..and everyone else in the theater, the funny shadow figure of Mr Baby dancing and taking a couple of bows showed up on the giant screen. He actually climbed all the way to the projection booth and convinced the projectionist that his talent was being wasted down there in the audience, and he should be on "the silver screen!" The projectionist rigged up a spotlight and granted Mr Baby his big screen debut. Right there in Anaconda...on that special night at the Washoe Theater. His review the next day in the local paper started off with, "You're not going to believe this, but..."
"Teddy Bear shows up during ending credits at last nights movie.."

A Little Introduction

Bobby, hard at work at the keyboard

Hello. Since this is our first post here, I guess an introduction's in order. My name is Bobby. I'm the well loved, beige bear. I was born in 1984, which makes me an old Teddy Bear. I guess you'd say that also makes me a wise bear too. Mr Baby, the smaller, white bear here, was born in 2008. Guess you might say he's the young, feisty, awnry bear with the attitude. He thinks there's nothing that can stop him! Problem is...sometimes he forgets to think! I have to spend a lot of time bailing my little brother out of situations. We live in a big motorhome with our mom and dad, travelling the roads of North America and getting into mischief while they're at work. Mom and dad call us "mascots." I guess that makes us somewhat important (?). A story about our first adventure is coming soon, so keep your eyes on this space. Don't leave here, ok? Just leave your window open here. Stay. Don't leave, it's almost ready. Ok.Ok. OH! I saw you hitting that key! Stay. Stay. No. Bad finger! Sit. Mr Baby! Are you finished with the story? Almost? Faster. Faster...don't leave. Please.........

We're writing as fast as our mitts will go!

Our new blog is coming soon! Tell your friends please. We're trying to post this but our fuzzy, mushy mitts make it really hard to type on this little keyboard. Our puppet brains are working over-time to come up with some really cool stories too. Subscribe now so you'll be ready when we finally figure out how to write all this stuff!
